The Cash Management Analyst will need to have a strong understanding of cash management and treasury functions with an emphasis of being detailed oriented with strong communication skills. The Cash Management Analyst will be supporting various teams within Cash Management including the cash and payments team. In addition, will be responsible for supporting various cash management strategic projects and initiatives across the enterprise. The Cash Management Analyst will need to have a full understanding of MassMutual bank account's structure, knowledge on cash accounting process, in addition cash balances and overall cash position.
As a Cash Management Analyst, you will work with all areas of the company, experiencing and supporting all the cash flows, from the time revenue is coming into the company all the way through to the supporting investments. The Impact
The Cash Management Analyst of the Cash Management Team will have an impact on helping the company achieve its goals.
- Perform monthly bank fees analysis, including ECR, FDIC, short-term investment/cash return analysis
- Complete bank documentation and service agreements
- Open new bank accounts and integrate into Company ecosystem (general ledger, cash position, bank rec, etc.)
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert for banking questions and payment methods
- Support various operational teams within cash management inclusive of the payments team, bank reconciliations and bank administration
- Establish and enhance governance and internal control procedures and maintain and consistently improve upon a strong control environment
The Minimum Qualifications
- BS in business, economics, accounting or finance
- 3+ years of relevant cash management/finance experience
- 1+ years experience opening and operationalizing bank accounts
The Ideal Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- CTP preferred
- Experience working with Kyriba or a Treasury Management System
- Experience working with SAP
- Cash Flow and bank balance analysis and optimization
- Experience leading projects and or larger strategic initiatives
- Bank fees analysis and reporting
- Understanding of various payment method (ACH, Wire, Check)
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel, from staff to executive management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to customer service and quality results
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate on improvements
- Monitor key controls to mitigate risk
- Analytical skills with particular attention to details
