As the Cardiologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialize care. You'll work as part of a team-based model where primary and specialty care providers join with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and growing population.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $367,500 - $700,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. As the Cardiologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialize care. You'll work as part of a team-based model where primary and specialty care providers join with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and growing population.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions
- Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments and testing such as lab sessions & testing include echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, cardiac device clinic
- Collaborates with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care. Maintaining continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agencies
- Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists to consults with providers on issues related to patient care
- Teaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs. Serves as an educator in areas of specialization
- Participates in the development of health education programs

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine
- Board Certified or Bord Certified Eligible in Cardiology
- Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
- Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
- Echo and Nuclear certification
