About the role

In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with investors across family offices, endowments and foundations and pension groups. You’ll create clear, compelling investor materials, including case studies and diligence responses, and share regular updates on pipeline progress, industry trends, and the broader capital-raising environment. You’ll work closely with Investor Operations and Legal to guide deals from term sheet to close and continually improve the onboarding experience for new investors. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across the organization on capital formation efforts, investor operations, and other key initiatives to help strengthen Point’s reputation as a trusted investment partner.


Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior team members to enhance and diversify the investor base.
  • Organize and actively participate in calls, meetings, and events with existing and potential clients.
  • Utilize the firm's CRM system to track and manage outreach activity effectively.
  • Maintain and update the quarterly sales plan and regularly monitor and report on fundraising goals.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on activity, pipeline, and feedback related to products and fundraising efforts.
  • Oversee outbound marketing activities directed towards investors.
  • Represent Point at investor conferences and events to promote the firm.
  • Enhance and refine investor-facing materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Offer analysis, create presentations, and prepare write-ups as required to support fundraising and investor relations efforts.

About you

  • Brings 2–5 years of experience in a client-facing financial services or investor-focused role, with comfort operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship-building skills and engages effectively with investors through meetings, calls, and events.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to produce clear, compelling presentations and investor materials.
  • Offers solid financial and analytical acumen, including familiarity with financial reporting, valuation concepts, market research, and the broader capital markets and institutional investment landscape.
  • Maintains strong organization and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across communications, reports, and investor documentation while managing multiple priorities.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional partners in finance, legal, marketing, and operations.
  • Shows sound problem-solving skills, handling investor inquiries and challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, investor relations software, and financial databases.
  • Adapts easily to evolving investor needs, shifting priorities, and changing market conditions.
  • Comfortable educating investors on performance, strategy, and outlook, with a strategic and forward-thinking approach to work.

In addition, employees also receive 4 weeks of fully paid transition time, during which you may work 2–3 days per week while receiving full base pay.

Point has detailed the expected annual base salary for this role:

  • All US metro areas | $200,000 - $225,000

This does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, including equity, benefits, and perks outlined above. At the launch of each position, we benchmark compensation to the appropriate role and level utilizing competitive compensation data from various data sources as references. At the offer stage, we use the signal we received from our interviews, coupled with your experience, location, and other job-related factors, to determine final compensation.


Location Requirement: This is a remote position. However, candidates must reside in one of Point’s states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, ME, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
