Job Description

Coordinate purchases, delivery, tagging, and installation of laboratory instruments for a key account.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site operations strictly by terms and conditions of the program contract and Statement of Work.
- Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with clients, service vendors, and Thermo Fisher staff.
- Communicate with suppliers and end users to coordinate all new instrument movements, including scheduling delivery and installation.
- Remove asset tags if the new asset is a replacement for an existing asset on the program.
- Supervise the delivery of instruments.
- Escort vendors.
- Tag and collect all asset data, including warranty information, and load it into the Resource Center.
- Coordinate vendor repair, installation, PM, and equipment calibrations, including scheduling, escorting, and documentation.
- Assist with the annual inventory cycle count of assets to maintain accurate records through provided tools.
- Support the add/delete/change process.
- Support problem resolution and customer concerns at the account as needed.
- Acquire and review field service reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Carry out all Thermo Fisher and customer security and safety procedures.
- Participate in PPI project teams as assigned to improve business performance.
- Maintain high levels of customer allegiance using CAS survey results for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate our 4I Values (Integrity, Intensity, Involvement, and Innovation).
- Other appropriate duties as assigned.
- Travel to multiple client locations as applicable to support account needs (< 40%).
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience, or a minimum of 2 years of relatable experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience in Life Science or Healthcare environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions:
- Works primarily at customer locations in an office environment, including cubicles and laboratory environments, which consist of noise and hazards.
- Interactions will consist of face-to-face meetings, telephone, email, and Web X meetings.
- Physical Activity: Walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, lifting, PC work.
- Must possess motor skills appropriate to the task.
- May be able to use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
- Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be worn including lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, and/or safety gloves.
