Capability Architect, Engineering Lifecycle Systems (m/f/d)

As a key leader serving Agile product teams, the Capability Architect (m/f/d) will steer the creation of best-in-class customer experiences, business solutions and operational processes driving value for our customers, team members and stakeholders.
Your assignments:
- Primary responsibility to create, elaborate, refine, and prioritize Agile team backlogs as well as to author user, defect, and enable stories within the team backlogs
- Develop detailed feature specifications, work instructions and training to ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
- Drive efficient increment and iteration planning through clearly communicating product needs
- Write acceptance criteria and acceptance tests aligned with product value and team Definition of Done (DoD)
- Collaborate with team leadership to determine overall objectives for functional increments of team and program value delivery and report product progress
- Collaborate with capability and solution architecture to ensure effective dependency management
- Engage with architects and delivery managers to properly sequence release schedules
- Co-Lead team iteration demonstrations to stakeholders and sponsors of the Agile team
- Participate in increment and iteration retrospectives to help drive continuous improvement
- Engage with other capability architects and process owners throughout the overall delivery program to identify common blockers, improve quality and reduce time to release
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field
- Several years of experience in leading software product development in healthcare or minimum 5 years leading technology delivery within a business department. Previous experience in Product Development, Technical Project Management or Software Engineering is valuable and transferable
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact
- Proven applications functional knowledge, including relevant best practices of a large-scale PLM systems
- Knowledge of CMII is an advantage
- Knowledge in our core systems (Windchill, Modeler, Thingworx)
- Knowledge in Azure DevOps and Agile principles
- Fluent in English and German
- Willingness to travel within Europe, Asia and US
