The Campaign Operations Manager executes and optimizes multi-channel marketing campaigns, focusing on Marketo and Salesforce for automation and reporting.
Role Description
As part of the Marketing Operations team, the Campaign Operations Manager will be responsible for executing and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns that support webinars, events, nurtures, and demand generation. This role focuses on building campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring accurate setup, QA, data flow, and performance tracking.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in marketing automation, a detail-oriented mindset, and deep experience managing campaign operations at scale. You’re energized by solving complex operational challenges, streamlining processes, and partnering with teams across marketing, sales, and analytics to drive results.
Responsibilities- Campaign Strategy & Design: Partner with the Marketing team to translate campaign strategy into scalable, automated programs in Marketo, supporting webinars, events, nurtures, and demand generation.
- Campaign Execution: Build, test, and launch campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring accurate setup, timely deployment, and reliable tracking.
- Template Development: Create and maintain reusable program templates and campaign assets in Marketo and Salesforce to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- QA & Troubleshooting: Lead QA efforts across campaign builds, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure flawless execution across platforms.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Uphold data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) and apply campaign operations best practices to ensure deliverability and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and analytics teams to align campaign goals, audience targeting, timelines, and performance reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience executing campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce, including automation and reporting
- Strong understanding of multi-channel campaign operations, including webinars, events, lifecycle nurtures, and segmentation strategies
- Proven experience building scalable workflows and reusable templates in Marketo
- Familiarity with lead management, campaign member status tracking, and syncing data between systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track campaign performance and apply insights
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of email and data compliance regulations including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CASL
- Marketo certification (Marketo Certified Expert or Marketo Certified Practitioner)
