We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Business Systems & Data Analyst to take ownership of company-wide data, providing critical insights and tools that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes and technology solutions while proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in designing and owning our data infrastructure from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape how business insights and technology intersect across a high-growth medical device company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and reporting solutions.
- Leverage SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Support the development and deployment of AI-driven tools and analytics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a STEM-related field, with strong experience conducting data analysis and a desire to transition into an industry role; or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies is highly desirable.
