Job Summary & Responsibilities

Job Objective:  The IT Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions that support the integration of newly acquired companies into RelaDyne’s systems landscape. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring that ERP, CRM, reporting, and other critical applications are configured, optimized, and aligned with RelaDyne standards. The Analyst will drive process standardization, data integrity, and system scalability while supporting business growth and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will report through the Director, Enterprise PMO and VP, Business Integration (or Integration Management Office), with strong collaboration across the IT team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management.

  • Serve as a key member of acquisition integration teams, ensuring technology solutions, processes, and systems are aligned with RelaDyne standards.
  • Assist the multi-year ERP transition from Sage DM2 to SAP and legal entity consolidation for RelaDyne’s domestic distribution business.
  • Lead business process mapping and requirements gathering to support system design, configuration, and optimization.
  • Conduct fit/gap analysis for legacy systems and assist with data conversion, testing, and ERP configuration during acquisitions.
  • Recommend, design, and implement technology-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency and standardization.
  • Collaborate with communications and change management partners to deliver clear, empathetic messaging that supports engagement and trust during integration.
  • Provide support for core systems including ERP and CRM, reporting tools, and other company applications.
  • Create and maintain documentation including workflows, process maps, SOPs, and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to configure, enhance, and integrate business systems.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training and communication to support system adoption and minimize business disruption.
  • Support project management activities related to integration projects, including planning, resource coordination, communication, and issue management.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and process standardization across systems.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and provide recommendations to enhance business and integration performance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or IT Business Analyst.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (Sage/DM2 and/or SAP strongly preferred) and related applications (CRM, reporting tools, fixed assets).
  • Solid understanding of business processes in accounting, supply chain, and operations.
  • Experience with data analysis, SQL, Crystal Reports, and Excel (advanced formulas, macros).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and configure systems accordingly.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience with project management, documentation, and end-user training.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for integration projects.
