The Business Systems Analyst will work on Oracle ERP PPM, analyze business processes, facilitate integrations, support testing, and ensure compliance with government standards.
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle ERP Projects Portfolio Management (PPM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system configuration, functional design, and integration concepts, along with a proven track record supporting Oracle ERP implementations and enhancements.
This role demands a professional who can serve as a bridge between business units and technical teams to ensure system solutions meet business goals. Prior experience working with state or local government agencies is a firm requirement, as this role involves navigating government processes and ensuring compliance with public sector standards.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle ERP Cloud, specifically the Projects Portfolio Management (PPM) module.
- Analyze business processes and translate requirements into Oracle ERP PPM system configurations and enhancements.
- Coordinate and support system and integration testing, working closely with technical teams and end users.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration and data flow.
- Document functional and technical specifications, configuration decisions, and user procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and managing change requests within Oracle ERP.
- Support go-live activities, training efforts, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure solutions adhere to state/local government policies and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant with Oracle ERP, specifically within the PPM (Projects Portfolio Management) module.
- Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud ERP system implementation or support.
- Solid understanding of ERP system integrations (e.g., with financial, procurement, or HR systems).
- Must have prior experience working with state or local government agencies.
- Familiarity with public sector business processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion/Cloud ERP preferred.
- Experience with integration tools or middleware (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft).
- Knowledge of government budgeting, grants, and project accounting processes.
- Oracle certifications or relevant ERP training is a plus.
