About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Business Strategy Manager to join the team to drive key cross-functional initiatives, business strategies, and support the rhythm-of-the business. This role will report to the Vice President of Business Excellence

This individual will play a critical role in helping shape and execute strategic initiatives across multiple functions, contributing to operational excellence, business planning, and organizational effectiveness. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, a strong grasp of business drivers, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

This role is best suited for a strategic thinker and doer—someone who enjoys solving business problems through a combination of data, intuition, and collaboration. Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, and the ideal candidate will have a strong internal drive to understand the "why" behind decisions and proactively bring forward ideas, risks, and opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with the VP, Business Excellence to drive key strategic initiatives, special projects, and decision support across the organization.
  • Perform detailed business analysis, market research, and internal data analysis to generate insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Help shape and drive cross-functional projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Build frameworks, models, and dashboards to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Synthesize insights and provide clear, concise recommendations to support prioritization and alignment.
  • Contribute to the design and facilitation of operational cadences such as QBRs, board meetings, and strategic offsites—supporting content creation, analytics, and action tracking.

 What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic operations roles, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Proven experience translating complex data into business insights that inform strategic direction.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling capabilities—both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization/BI platforms.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and juggle multiple high-priority initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong bias for action, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative working style.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
What You’ll Get
  • Unlimited paid time off, plus 3 global VeeaMe Days for self-care
  • Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for all parents, 16 weeks for birthing parents
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one
  • Mental health support, therapy sessions, and digital wellness tools via SupportLinc EAP
  • 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions up to annual limits
  • Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support through Maven, plus paid volunteer time
  • AirVet: 24/7 virtual veterinary care at no cost
  • Legal services, identity protection, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Tax-advantaged spending accounts for healthcare, dependent care, and commuting
  • Professional training and education, including courses and workshops, internal meetups, and unlimited access to our online learning platforms (LinkedIn Learning, Athena, O’Reilly) and mentoring through our MentorLab program

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
