That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Business Strategy Intern to support our team in primary research of the hospital-owned PBM marketplace. This role will own a project researching the emerging marketplace of a small but growing number of hospitals establishing their own PBMs. You will gain industry experience, hone researching skills, and ultimately make impactful recommendations to our leadership team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and naturally curious about business and healthcare with a desire to learn more about the healthcare space and gain experience at a high-growth company.

*This is a paid internship based at the Kalderos office in Boston, MA from June 9th - August 8th, 2025. You’ll be expected to work 40 hours/week at $25 per hour.

What You'll Do:

  • Own a project researching the emerging marketplace of hospital-owned PBMs, conducting research on primary research on 5-10 hospital-owned PBMs
  • Conduct internal interviews with subject-matter experts within Kalderos to better understand and contextualize the PBM/hospital businesses
  • Engage select external parties or SMEs to understand the opportunity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Work alongside a talented group of interns across departments with an opportunity for social and volunteer events with the cohort
  • Prepare a presentation designed to address emerging issues in this space and present to Kalderos’ Leadership Team and your fellow intern cohort with recommendations for future steps (if any)

What You’ll Bring:

  • You're a rising junior, senior, or recently graduated with a degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field
  • Strong research, communication, and organizational skills
  • Interest or experience in the payer or PBM marketplace
