Your Role

As part of Zip's business recruiting team, you'll help us build out our Sales and Marketing org. As a Business Sourcer (Contract), you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and helping screen candidates for our GTM teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can learn, move, and adapt quickly, and stays laser focused on quality and results.

You Will
  • Effectively identify and attract Sales and Marketing candidates (think Enterprise Account Executives, Account Managers, BDRs, Sales Engineers, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and similar roles)

  • Source a large pipeline of high quality candidates across high priority roles

  • Engage exceptional candidates, vet them, and manage interviewing and hiring processes, keeping candidate experience top of mind

  • Partner with Zip's Sales and Marketing leaders to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles

  • Partner closely with cross functional team members to land successful hires

  • Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve Zip's recruiting process

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sourcing experience for sales and/or marketing roles

  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior leadership

  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong sense of ownership, striving for excellence in everything you do

  • Incredibly proactive, comfortable moving fast

  • Detail oriented and organized, comfortable managing multiple reqs or competing priorities at once

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with senior leadership

  • Strong experience with ATS systems, ideally Ashby

Nice to Haves
  • Experience sourcing quota carrying roles (AE, SDR, AM, Sales Engineer) and marketing functions

  • Experience in a fast paced startup environment

  • Previous full cycle recruiting experience

  • Experience negotiating sales specific comp (OTE, commission structures, quota attainment), startup equity, and ambiguity

The hourly rate for this role is $40-$60. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
