Business Planning Financial Analyst

Spectrum is seeking a Business Planning Analyst to coordinate and monitor forecasts, budgets, and analyze operating expenses to develop actionable financial plans. Your expertise will help shape present and future performance, ensuring operational goals are met and resources are maximized for lasting impact.
This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Prepare and review reports and analyses to support financial objectives
• Perform data trend analysis on operational budgets to help the team achieve key performance indicators
• Understand and apply financial models to forecast business result
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through detailed analysis
• Create and update operating expense forecasts
• Coordinate variance analysis and reporting for operating expenses
• Review financial statements monthly to recognize trends

Required Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2+ years of business planning, financial analysis or related experience

Skills & Abilities

• Prioritize and organize effectively
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently
• Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities
• Quickly identify business challenges and opportunities
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management
• Proficiency with software applications such as Word and Excel

• Learn Oracle Hyperion and SAP software
