Since 2018, Wisp has been on a mission to put healthcare back in patients’ hands. We connect patients with hassle-free sexual + reproductive care online, with discreet and convenient treatment that saves them time, money, and stress. Our goal is to empower everyone to make the decisions about their health that are right for them. We’ve scaled quickly, serving patients across the nation and becoming part of the WELL Health family—and now we want you.

We are a growing, fully-remote team in the United States looking for collaborators who are committed to our mission, passionate about results, eager to build something amazing, and excited to have high levels of ownership, accountability, and personal growth.

Who We're Looking For

We are currently looking for a Business Operations Specialist to join our team and help drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across the business. In this role, you'll serve as the operational backbone for new product development and launch — owning the technical build, eligibility configuration, and end-to-end testing that brings new offerings to patients. You'll also partner closely with Product, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Ecommerce teams to solve complex operational challenges and design scalable systems that support our continued growth.

You'll bring a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, using data to inform decisions and guide execution. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable configuring a product catalog, running E2E test flows, and building a financial model — someone who can hold both the systems and the strategy without needing to choose. You thrive on ambiguity, build from 0 to 1, and take genuine ownership from scoping through execution.

As part of a fast-moving, collaborative environment, you'll play a key role in shaping how our operations evolve — identifying opportunities, improving processes, and driving initiatives that directly impact both business performance and patient experience.
Please note that this is a contract to hire role initially with a period of about 3 months.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end operational build for new product launches — from reverse-engineering what we want to offer (consult types, dose configurations, pricing tiers) through catalog setup in Strapi, pharmacy association logic, state eligibility configuration, and physical product coordination.

  • Serve as the primary E2E tester for new offerings, building patient-experience workflows, running pre-launch order flow validation, and identifying issues before they reach production.

  • Maintain and evolve pharmacy eligibility logic across a large and growing SKU catalog — managing which products can be dispensed by which pharmacy in which states, and updating associations in real time as regulatory or operational conditions change.

  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional projects from scoping through execution, defining problems, structuring workstreams, and driving measurable outcomes.

  • Analyze operational and user behavior data using tools such as Looker, Amplitude, SQL, and Excel to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and track key performance metrics.

  • Build financial models and strategic analyses to support new channel and product decisions — sizing opportunities, modeling unit economics, and presenting insights to leadership.

  • Partner across Operations, Product, Engineering, Pharmacy, and Compliance teams to ensure aligned execution and remove blockers.

  • Identify inefficiencies and design scalable workflows, systems, and processes that support business growth.

This Role Could Be A Good Fit For You If…

  • You have 2–4+ years of experience in business operations, consulting, strategy, or a highly analytical role at a high-growth company or top-tier firm.

  • You are technically fluent enough to configure product catalogs, manage system logic, and troubleshoot production issues — without needing an engineer to do it for you.

  • You are a strong analytical thinker with experience building models, dashboards, and analyses to drive decision-making.

  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and can take ambiguous problems and turn them into clear, actionable plans.

  • You are highly organized and experienced in managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders.

  • You communicate clearly and effectively, and are comfortable influencing cross-functional teams at all levels.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy balancing both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

  • You are highly proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, and comfortable learning tools like Looker, Amplitude, Notion, Strapi, or Asana.

  • You have a bias toward experimentation and iteration, and are comfortable testing, learning, and refining quickly.

  • You are naturally curious, self-directed, and energized by ownership and accountability.

  • Bonus: You have experience in telehealth, eCommerce, or healthcare-related industries, and/or familiarity with SQL or tools like dbt or Hex.

Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this position at present. Must be authorized to work in the country this requisition states.

Wisp is an equal-opportunity employer. We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients.

If you are committed to collaborative problem solving, creating high-quality and user-centric products, and want to make waves in sexual and reproductive healthcare, join us!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
