Amyx is seeking to hire a Business Operations Specialist located in Falls Church, VA to support the Office of Warfighter Health Advantage (OWHA). 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    • Correspondence Management: Systematically handling and tracking all incoming and outgoing communications to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
    • Travel Coordination: Arranging and managing all aspects of business travel, including bookings, itineraries, and expense reporting, for individuals or groups.
    • Records Management: Organizing, maintaining, and securing official documents and information throughout their lifecycle to ensure compliance and accessibility.
    • Office Administration: Overseeing the daily operations of an office environment, including managing supplies, facilities, and general support services.
    • Civilian & Military Personnel Management: Administering the unique human resources requirements and career lifecycle management for civilian and military service members.
    • Recruitment & Hiring: The process of attracting, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions within an organization.
    • Onboarding & Offboarding: Managing the structured process of integrating new employees into the organization and facilitating the smooth departure of exiting employees.
    • Position Management: Defining, classifying, and structuring roles and responsibilities within an organizational framework to align with strategic objectives.
    • Workforce Development: Implementing programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of employees to meet organizational goals.
    • Customer Support: Providing assistance, guidance, and problem resolution to clients or users regarding products, services, or inquiries.
    • Extensive knowledge in strategic/operational planning, business process management, business operations, policy coordination, interpretation and dissemination, training, task management, information management, facility and space management, and related activities
    • Ability to develop organizational communication through various vehicles to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to develop, implement, monitor, evaluate, forecast, and report progress toward achieving organizational goals and objectives.
    • Ability to produce, maintain, and publish a variety of routine reports and publications at the executive level.
    • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information in a proactive manner.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required, preferably DoD or DHA experience

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Federal and DOD acquisition procedures, Healthcare Operations, Project Management, DoD, or DHA Administrative Operations.
