Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Fabrication organization, is seeking a senior business manager to lead the Boeing Salt Lake Business Operations team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role will manage the local team and sit on the site leadership team. Statement of work for this team includes capital management, work movement, change management, management systems and integration, site strategy, and more.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Monitors and adjusts program or business unit work statement capacity.
  • Reviews management system execution, makes appropriate adjustments.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in project management, finance, business operations or similar role
  • Experience creating and presenting materials to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • Experience with schedule and budget management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost and schedule baseline requirements are met

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:$146,000 - $162,000
