Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison and Customer Success Manager between the IT department and Manufacturing & Distribution (M&D) Operations
  • Provide dedicated, on-site support within a fast-paced distribution center, working directly with operations teams on the warehouse floor to address system and process issues in real-time
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all M&D processes and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, and production validation for all M&D IT applications
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and issue resolution for all supported applications
  • Offer flexible support to align with operational needs, including evenings, weekends, or on-call availability during critical system go-lives, patches, and peak periods
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for M&D IT systems and functionalities
  • Coordinate system changes with IT Operations and business units through Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
  • Manage relationships with external vendors for support issues and platform enhancements
  • Translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms for operations teams, management, and non-technical business partners
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to all departments on the use and functionality of site-specific applications
  • Defines problem areas on various team, department, and enterprise levels and recommends changes needed to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Oversee product quality, implementing corrective and preventive actions to ensure product readiness and enhance system capabilities
  • Develop and analyze reports to monitor system usage, data accuracy, and capacity utilization, providing recommendations for systemic improvements

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • BS Degree in IT Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or other degree with experience required to be successful in this position
  • MS/MBA Degree in a technical field is preferred
  • Requires experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan SCALE Preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and web application is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred but not required

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and reports and make assumptions based on factual data
  • Ability to write scope definitions, reports, and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, system users, and stakeholders
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Familiarity working with Engineering, Transportation Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing project management teams

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $77,000.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
