Business Intelligence Engineer III

Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer III at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data models, reports/dashboards/BI solutions for analytics and deep learning.
What You'll Do:

• Implement data ingestion routines both real time and batch using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes.
• Provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multidimensional datasets and multiple sources.
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
• Produce comprehensive, usable data set documentation, metadata, BI reports, Dashboards and insights.
• Telecommuting permitted.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of experience.
• Will accept Master's and 3 years of experience.
• Experience must include 3 years in the following: building automated data warehousing environments for production reports or tables;
• Familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake DWH's and S3 or similar data lakes;
• Data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Quicksight;
• Building self-serve BI solutions, canned reports and enterprise level BI solutions;
• Data modeling in large Data warehousing, data lake environment;
• Python/ R or similar coding languages;
• Gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting;
• Building on AWS QuickSight, ElasticCache etc;
• Statistical models and building predictive models from scratch.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Base Salary Range
$131,500-$211,000 USD
