Overview
As a Business Intelligence Analyst II you will participate in the production of operational, financial, effectiveness and market intelligence data by discovering and querying repositories and other sources. You will also interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations based upon the research findings. You will be applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. At this level you will generally work independently on moderately complex business intelligence projects or as a team member on larger projects.
What will you do?

Report any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately support responses to incidents if they occur.
Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
Formulate analysis plans and design or develops questionnaires, tests, research plans, and other guides to ensure the necessary data is captured to perform an actionable analysis and recommendation.
Collect research data from available internal sources, industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources with revenue generation or effectiveness strategy and business result implications. Further tests are conducted or coordinated to ensure that data is valid and consistent with defined needs.
Conduct analysis using traditional research methods, including statistical techniques, and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of program efficacy, enriched revenue generation, market penetration, market practices, competitive strategies, and program enhancements.
Based on research, analysis, and conclusions, author basic reports containing valid conclusions and actionable recommendations, summarizing marketing, program, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders. May involve making live presentations, and answering questions for stakeholders.
Cooperates in the maintenance of business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. May include the creation or review of technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the business intelligence discipline.
What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of business intelligence experience.
Full competency in SQL and experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (strongly preferred).
Familiarity with Snowflake and SAS platforms for data analysis and reporting.
Proven ability to design research plans, interpret data, and deliver actionable insights.
Skilled in BI tools and dashboard development to support strategic decision-making.
Strong communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders and leadership.
Customer Centric mindset that enjoys working support tickets and working with requestors.
