Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business data requirements.
- Design, document, and validate data models and business logic within Data Warehouses.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
- Translate business questions into technical queries using DAX and SQL.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure high data quality.
- Develop KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators aligned with business goals.
- Automate reporting and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support for Power BI users.
- Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure optimal data structure and ETL performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data refresh issues and data integrity concerns in Power BI Service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Hands-on implementation or architecture experience with Microsoft Fabric, including designing, modeling, or supporting data solutions using Fabric components (e.g., Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, or Semantic Models).
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Business Intelligence roles, with a focus on Data Warehousing and Power BI.
Proficient in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, and Dataflows).
Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star and snowflake schemas).
Experience working with both cloud-based and on-prem data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or similar).
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (SSIS, ADF, or similar).
Experience supporting data governance efforts, including creating and maintaining data dictionaries.
Experience working with large datasets to support Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality initiatives.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
