The Business Development Specialist will drive sales growth, develop strategies against competitors, build relationships with OEMs, and oversee product evaluations in targeted sub-segments.

Responsibilities:
- Drive over proportional New Business Growth at target accounts in your defined subsegments through direct sales and collaboration with Sales Team Members, using value-based solutions.
- Approach targeted end customers, service companies, and channel partners to achieve over-proportional sales growth in specific sub-segments using Kluber Lubrication Brand products.
- Gather, consolidate, analyse, and disseminate information about competitive products to develop sales strategies vs key Food market competitors in order to grow business.
- Continuously monitor North American sub-segments to understand industry trends and requirements, promoting Klüber Lubrication products.
- Pursue new approvals from targeted sub-segment equipment designers and manufacturers (OEMs) and establish relationships at target company headquarters.
- Responsible for evaluation of pricing for key products in your focus sub-segments.
- Initiate new product developments for your focus sub-segments by generating requirement profiles and development plans.
- Attend industry specific trade shows (internal and external) and seminars.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Engineering, Technical, or related field.
- 5+ years of industrial direct sales experience; experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing industry a plus.
- Previous experience with CRM systems.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Able to travel up to 50%, domestic.
