Position Overview – Business Development Specialist (BDS): We are seeking qualified candidates for an Inside Sales Representative to do B2B calls for one or more of the following industries: OEM, steel, chemical, or gas industry, industrial machine equipment sales, automation, electronics, rubber, plastic extrusion, injection, or the blow molding industry. The ideal candidate must have previous B2B sales experience, be a self-starter, competitive, driven, articulate, thoughtful, and have experience speaking to all levels of management and closing sales. This role has a salary range of $50,000 - $100,000 per year, paid on an hourly basis.
Responsibilities:

  • Find new opportunities and build the sales pipeline through strategic prospect management, cold-calling, and emailing
  • Qualify prospects in terms of their needs, goals and business environment
  • Coordinate with clients to align their requirements with prospects to provide opportunities to quote
  • Track all activities through our CRM (Zoho) to create a weekly report providing details of insights, conversations, and pipeline highlights

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ business development and sales hunting experience
  • A desktop or laptop computer
  • Experience in the engineering, industrial and/or manufacturing industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exemplary professionalism are required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Must be able to work independently and be highly motivated
