The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a critical role in Flashpoint’s growth strategy. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact between potential customers and our company. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, setting meetings, and working closely with the Sales team to drive qualified pipeline for the business.

We have a role for you if:

  • You have cultivated qualified leads from outbound prospecting to successfully setting up meetings and passing to Sales

  • You have coordinated high level conversations between prospects and Sales Director’s.

  • You have successfully crafted engaging messaging outreach across multiple channels (email, social, calling, texting)

  • You don’t get discouraged by objections and find effective ways to handle them

  • You have familiarity with the Security and / or the Threat Intelligence space, or are eager to learn it quickly

  • You have been a strong contributor in both performance and culture

  • You are comfortable working with a wide range of software tools

What you will achieve:

  • Within 30 days

    • You will have completed onboarding feeling ready to dive into the role

    • Have a strong understanding of Flashpoint’s products / services, value proposition, target market and personas

    • An understanding of the industry landscape, including key competitors and market trends

    • Begin researching potential leads and target accounts in your assigned territory or industry

    • Master the sales pitch and prospecting method

  • Within 60 days

    • You will be constantly learning and improving based off of the success and failures experienced

    • You will have achieved 50% of ramp quota in month 2

    • You will have hit outbound activity targets

  • By 90 days

    • You will have hit 100% of ramp quota, feeling confident to hit a fully ramped quarter

    • You have fully aligned your outbound strategy and activities with your Sales counterparts to begin successful relationships

    • You are able to articulate our value proposition and handle more in depth conversations with prospects

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.

  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in BDR tech stack

Base Pay Range: $60,000 plus commission
