The Business Development Representative will identify potential clients, manage leads in CRM systems, create sales strategies, and maintain client relationships.

We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Business Development Representative to target new customers to leverage ComputerCare’s IT asset management services. These services are utilized today by some of the nation’s largest companies to free up their IT resources for other projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive significant and sustainable sales growth. This is a remote/hybrid role .
Essential Duties
- Identify potential clients through research, outbound calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking, qualifying them based on fit, budget, and needs
- Consistently add, track, and manage leads in CRM systems, ensuring opportunities move through the funnel toward sales acceptance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve targets, expanding our customer base.
- Actively seek out and generate new business opportunities using existing and potential customer relationships.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Secure meetings with IT and business leaders by communicating the value of the company’s services in solving their technology challenges.
- Understand customer’s needs and tailor custom solutions through consultative selling.
- Increase industry knowledge, market, and competitors to provide a sales edge needed to close business and generate revenue.
- Research prospective accounts and identify key contacts using ComputerCare’s ideal customer profile and personas to understand their needs, roadblocks, and how ComputerCare can support them.
- Leverage company CRM to create, maintain, and report on sales activity.
- Collaborate with other sales team members and other departments to improve the customer onboarding experience.
- Prospect and identify leads, leveraging networks and working closely with business partners such as manufacturer representatives and other strategic partners.
- Present and negotiate compelling sales proposals to secure new partnerships and advantageous terms with existing partners.
- Act as a subject matter expert, representing ComputerCare at networking events and target industries.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- 3-6+ years of relevant experience in business development or similar customer-facing role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Deep understanding of a prescriptive sales motion. How to create, manage, and progress opportunities. Pipeline progression and management a must.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive significant and sustainable revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
- Strong analytical, strategy development, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to optimize sales strategies and make informed decisions.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
