About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a proactive and ambitious individual with excellent communication skills, a knack for relationship-building, and a passion for driving growth.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and establish long-term business relationships.
- Sales & Lead Generation: Prospecting for new clients and leads, initiating contact, and developing sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams like sales, marketing, and product development to ensure strategies are aligned with overall company goals.
- Reporting & Monitoring: Tracking sales progress, monitoring key performance indicators, and reporting on results to ensure corporate goals are met.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyzing market trends, identifying potential new clients, and researching competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities
- Social selling: Building relationships with prospects on professional networks, primarily Linkedin.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a business development or sales-related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, like Salesforce or Hubspot.
