Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are energetic, driven, and passionate about growing Expert Institute’s market presence throughout the US and Canada.

This is an entry-level role within our dynamic Sales team, focused on proactive outreach to prospective clients through calls and emails.

BDRs act as the initial contact for potential clients, presenting tailored value propositions aligned with each firm’s unique needs. Upon engaging prospects, BDRs coordinate and schedule introductory meetings with our Sales team.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate closely with your regional team to achieve monthly sales objectives

  • Engage attorneys through proactive outreach, delivering compelling conversations and insightful interactions

  • Provide an outstanding client experience from initial contact through the sales journey

  • Conduct strategic cold calling and targeted email outreach to top plaintiff law firms, securing meetings for our Account Executives and Sales Directors

  • Clearly communicate the value and benefits of our services, tailored specifically to each law firm

  • Maintain and update prospect databases accurately, tracking contact details and prospect interactions diligently

  • Coordinate closely with the Sales team to ensure smooth progression of opportunities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource, effectively addressing pre-sale inquiries from prospects and internal team members to advance the sales process

Qualifications

YOUR BACKGROUND:

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about beginning and developing a career in sales.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject preferred

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience or internship is beneficial

  • Professional presence with a high level of emotional maturity

  • Comfortable cold calling and speaking with prospective clients every day in an open setting

  • Ability to work with a high-caliber team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

  • Working knowledge of all Office-based applications, Google, and CRM (Salesforce experience is a huge advantage)
