Description

Bevi is transforming the way beverages are delivered. We provide smart, sustainable hydration by replacing single-use plastic bottles with IoT-enabled machines that dispense still, sparkling, and flavored water. Our mission is rooted in environmental impact and workplace wellness — and our customers (from tech startups to Fortune 500s) love us for it. Backed by over $160M in venture funding and rapidly scaling across North America, Bevi is now investing in next-generation outbound strategies that combine AI, partner intelligence, and smart prospecting to grow our channel-driven business.

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support Bevi’s channel partner sales efforts, working closely with our partner-aligned Territory Managers and national distributors (e.g., Canteen, Aramark, Sodexo, etc.). This role will sit at the center of our indirect growth engine, focused on identifying opportunities and generating pipeline within accounts managed or influenced by our partners. As a BDR, you’ll use tools like Apollo.io, Salesforce, and custom AI enrichment to surface expansion signals, uncover net new opportunities, and route intelligence to the right reps across Bevi and our partner ecosystem. While this role may occasionally surface prospects relevant to our Direct Sales team, the primary charter is to accelerate indirect, partner-led growth in collaboration with Territory Managers.

Your Day to Day
  • Research accounts and surface partner-sourced opportunities, using Salesforce data and AI tools to track installs, identify warm contacts, and connect the dots between partner reps and prospects
  • Use Apollo.io to enrich contact data, identify regional foodservice providers, and run persona-based outbound to titles like Dining Directors, Facilities Managers, and Workplace Ops
  • Collaborate closely with Territory Managers to coordinate outbound follow-up, regional targeting, and install-based lead routing
  • Trigger and pass leads based on partner alignment, geography, and expansion potential
  • Support Associate Territory Managers and partner BDMs with sales blitzes, campaigns, and warm outreach execution
  • Help operationalize partner-driven expansion using predefined workflows, templates, and outreach scripts
  • Track all activity, source context, and lead routing in Salesforce to maintain clarity and attribution
  • Become a subject matter expert in channel-based selling, indirect lead sourcing, and partner strategy
  • Learn how to collaborate effectively with both Territory Managers and national partners to unlock shared success
  • Build foundational skills in outbound prospecting, AI-powered targeting, and cross-functional sales alignment
  • Learn how to use install data, account structure, and partner geography to identify expansion paths others miss
Requirements
  • Prior experience or interest in sales, partnerships, or marketing outreach (internships welcome!)
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Apollo.io, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Curiosity about how complex sales ecosystems function — and a desire to be at the center of it
  • A highly proactive mindset — you're comfortable digging through details to find the right contact
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and building something meaningful
  • A 4-year Bachelor’s or 2-year Associate’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Ability to be in the Boston office at least 2 days per week
Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance plans with BlueCross BlueShield, 95% paid by employer
  • 401(k) with company match, and environmentally responsible investment options
  • Flexible PTO plus 12 company holidays, and additional paid days for sick leave, etc (including sustainability or social justice volunteer events)
  • Generous fully paid parental leave for both birth parents and non-birth parents
  • Fully employer paid disability and life insurances
  • Wellness and fitness reimbursements
  • Monthly stipends for cell phone use and commuting costs
  • Onsite snacks, weekly catered lunch, and (of course) unlimited Bevi ... plus composting and terracycling, too
  • Happy hours, team-building events, bagel breakfasts, Hero awards - and more!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
