The Business Development Representative plays a key role in identifying new business opportunities by engaging with and nurturing relationships with potential clients. Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport, guiding prospects through the initial stages of the sales process, and seamlessly connecting them with account executives. This position is critical to driving sales and expanding the company’s client base.

- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Responsibilities
- 50 Dials Per Day Minimum
- 1 appt set- 40 Dials Per Day Minimum
- 2 Appt set- No Dial Minimum
- 12 sets per month
- 10 held meetings per month
- 80% show rate
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Starting from $55,000; pay commensurate with experience plus uncapped commission
- Work remotely from home
- 12 days of PTO within first year, increased with tenure
