What You'll Do
This role reports to the Business Development Manager. You will generate qualified pipeline for the Sales team through outbound prospecting and inbound lead coverage. You will own the first stage of the sales cycle and book high-quality discovery meetings that convert into revenue.
How You Will Succeed
Pipeline Creation
- Execute daily outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Maintain consistent activity volume and disciplined follow-up
- Research accounts, identify targets, and personalize outreach
- Generate qualified discovery meetings that meet our ICP
- Partner with AEs on account planning, focus, and strategy
Inbound Coverage
- Respond quickly to inbound leads
- Qualify interest, confirm fit, and schedule discovery meetings
- Maintain high time-to-first-touch standards
- Ensure clean notes, attribution, and next steps in Salesforce
Qualification and Handoff
- Run early discovery to confirm need, timing, and intent
- Set clear agendas and expectations with prospects
- Transition meetings to AEs with full context
- Protect meeting quality and maintain strong conversion rates
Process and Reporting
- Keep all activity, notes, and stages accurate in Salesforce
- Follow all outbound cadences and routing rules
- Submit weekly activity numbers and pipeline created
- Work with the BDM to improve messaging and targeting
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of BDR or SDR experience preferred, but strong early candidates considered
- Clear communicator with strong writing ability
- Comfortable with high outbound volume and rejection
- Familiarity with Salesforce and modern prospecting tools
- Organized, dependable, and consistent
- Motivated by targets and team alignment
