Job Description

The Business information Services BDR team is a fast-growing, organization within Experian, that has growth targets to support the vigorously growing Business Development group. You will find decision makers within organizations, explaining all of Experian's offerings, and setting up introductory calls between the prospect and our sales team. The BDR is the first impression many companies will have of Experian; therefore, it is critical that you provide an excellent client experience.

  • Develop industry and location-based accounts and set up quality appointments for the Account Executives
  • Manage account lists of contacts
  • Strategize emails, calls, and social outreach (prospecting)
  • Manage sales pipeline through vetting, qualification, and prioritization
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Experian's products and services
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, marketing, and sales leadership to drive effectiveness and team unity
  • Aim to develop skills, with a strong learning and teaching mindset
  • You will report to the Business Development Manager
  • Base Salary ($50k - $55k, depending on experience) PLUS the opportunity to earn unlimited commission based on your sales performance

Work Location

While you can work remotely from anywhere within the country, we do encourage those located near our corporate offices to apply. Having the ability to go into the office for events, community building, and connection allows for an unparalleled engagement and support system.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years B2B sales experience in outbound or SDR/BDR Roles.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Prior experience in financial services or data/technology sectors.
  • Experience with prospecting tools, such as SalesForce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and 6Sense.
  • Highly self-motivated, coachable, and adaptable to change.
  • Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge, through online education, team members, and coaching
