Overview:

As a Business Development Representative focused on demand generation, you will be responsible for building outbound campaigns, identifying new market opportunities, and surfacing qualified leads to drive pipeline growth. You will use tools like Clay, LinkedIn, Apollo, and HubSpot to personalize and scale outreach campaigns, partner with BD Executives to move deals forward, and help shape how VGV engages potential customers across key verticals including Travel & Entertainment, AI, and Fintech. This role is perfect for someone who is energized by experimentation, driven by results, and eager to contribute to a high-performing business development team at a fast-growing consultancy.

Role Objectives:
  • Drive revenue growth through outbound campaign design, execution, and optimization.
  • Source qualified pipeline through modern prospecting tools and data-enriched workflows.
  • Play a key role in refining and scaling VGV’s outbound strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build targeted prospect lists using tools like Clay and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Execute multi-step outbound campaigns using Apollo, tightly integrated with HubSpot CRM.
  • Write and refine personalized messaging across email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Run A/B tests to optimize outreach performance and improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor campaign analytics and iterate on outreach tactics based on results.
  • Collaborate with BD Executives and marketing to align outreach efforts with strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, document pipeline activity, and report on performance.
  • Contribute to sales collateral, outreach templates, and internal playbooks.
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or demand generation role, ideally in a professional services, tech consulting, or agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, and / or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in outbound messaging.
  • Demonstrated success in booking meetings and influencing pipeline growth (continued outreach).
  • Comfortable running tests, learning from data, and iterating quickly.
  • Highly collaborative and self-motivated; comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales cycles and solution-based selling.
Preferred qualifications/Nice to haves:
  • Experience building outbound campaigns that influenced or sourced $1M+ in pipeline.
  • Prior experience in Flutter, digital product, or AI/ML environments.
  • Experience working closely with Marketing or GTM teams to align messaging and segmentation strategies.
  • Project management, sales operations, or HubSpot workflow automation experience.
Total Rewards:

VGV wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $65k - $85k, with an additional uncapped commission plan. We benchmark every role based on location and against comparable companies to ensure competitiveness; however, actual compensation is highly dependent on numerous factors such as location, experience, knowledge and skills, qualifications and other job-related factors.
