Business Development Representative (BDR)

Intelycare is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Revenue team. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients interested in IntelyCare’s new Nurse-Centric Job Board, as well as engaging with our post-acute per diem prospects. You will educate, entice and qualify leads while partnering closely with Account Executives, Marketing and Product teams.
As IntelyCare’s Business Development Representative, you’ll be a self-motivated individual that thrives on competition and rapport building with prospects and customers interested in our new nurse-centric Job Board product, as well as post-acute per diem prospects. You will act as a liaison, linking sales and marketing to qualify content-generated leads and increase sales revenue while also cold-calling on decision-makers to create your own leads. The most successful people in this role will be tenacious, confident, and customer-focused, possessing pride in personal performance with a hate-to-lose mentality while working closely with our Marketing and Revenue Operations teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales tools
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team with decision-makers in healthcare, post-acute, surgery centers and any similar healthcare system
- Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospects using CRM tool, Salesforce
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand potential clients’ recruiting and hiring needs
- Track and report on outreach efforts, conversion metrics, and feedback from prospects
- Stay up to date on trends in healthcare staffing and the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with marketing to convert inbound leads and support campaign efforts
- Stay on top of trends in hiring, recruiting, marketplace technology, and industry-specific challenges
- Help refine outbound messaging and contribute feedback to optimize sales playbooks
- Be successful, grow into either an Account Manager or BD lead, train and mentor the next BD representative
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in asales, lead generation, or business development role (marketplace or B2B experience is a plus)
- Experience within the healthcare staffing industry or a similar two-sided marketplace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable with cold outreach and using sales tools like CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and desire to grow professionally
- Passion for healthcare, recruiting, or making a difference in the nursing workforce is a plus
