How you’ll make an impact:
- Embed with the business development team on critical issues related to partnering strategy and transaction related workstreams.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and potential opportunities in therapeutic areas of strategic interest.
- Support target prioritization and evaluation, including high-level screening of potential partners, technologies, or assets.
- Assist in due diligence, including data gathering, synthesis, and creation of briefing materials for internal stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for business development discussions, internal strategy forums, and leadership reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Research, Clinical, Legal, Finance) to support elements of strategic analysis and partnership assessment.
- Contribute to special projects that may include financial modeling, valuation support, and development of strategic recommendations.

Skills and experience you’ll bring:
- Currently enrolled in a top MBA program (rising 2nd-year) with a strong academic record
- Demonstrated interest in biotech, and life sciences
- Prior experience in life sciences consulting, investment banking, or business development
- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information clearly
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to be onsite in Watertown, Ma June - August 2026 (start/end dates are flexible)

Compensation
- The anticipated pay rate range for this role is $45-55/hour.
- Actual salary is based on a holistic evaluation of the specific role/level as well as each candidate’s depth of experience and the capabilities they bring to the position.
