The Business Development Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for contributing and leading South of Vietnam Channel Partner to archive target performance (about 7.2 mil. annually)

This position is part of the Southeast Asian – North (SEA-N) Commercial team located in Vietnam. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Vietnam commercial team and report to the Business Manager of SEA-N responsible for SEA-N business and commercial team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develops business plan and sales strategy collectively with distributors in Vietnam to support sustainable growth objectives
  • Collaborate through customer operations teams and cross functional group to maximize the technical, commercial and operation supports extending to our distributors
  • Establish effective distributor management processes to track sales forecast, sales funnel, sell-through and other KPI’s to ensure our visibility on distributor performance.
  • Provides timely assessment and advice to senior management regarding market development, business model options and distributor strategies
  • In charge of marketing and product strategies in the region from initiation to implementation through collaboration with the marketing functions and ensure distributor compliances to adhere closely to all internal and external requirements

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Education – Degree in Science and preferably with business qualification - MBA a plus
  • Experience – Minimum of 5 years commercial management experience in Healthcare/Diagnostics (preferably in IVD); distributor management experience a plus
  • Required Essential Skills – Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics in the Vietnam market. Ability to demonstrate top-tier business development and distributor handling skills. Illustrate strong presentation, communication and be able to make strategic influences. Possess strong language proficiency in English.
  • Market Essential Skills – Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, adjust business strategies accordingly and liaise with other functional and operational area managers to ensure that business strategies
  • Preferred Essential Skills: Activities in integrating with other parts of the business and align with overall HGM objectives. Lead, motivate and drive dealers to achieve established sales and profit goals on sustainable basis

Ability to travel – 50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
