Summary:
We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our IT consulting services by identifying and securing new client relationships. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and positioning our firm as a partner for IT recruiting solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in outreach, and skilled at building relationships and closing new business. You will be responsible for developing a pipeline of companies with current or upcoming hiring needs and converting them into clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target companies with current or future IT hiring needs.
- Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone, and networking to generate new business opportunities.
- Schedule and lead discovery meetings with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives. Understand client hiring needs and present tailored recruiting solutions.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects from initial contact through closing.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate and close service agreements with new clients.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support repeat business and account growth.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, staffing sales, or IT consulting sales.
- Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior-level decision makers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
- Ability to understand business needs and position solutions effectively.
