The Opportunity

Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming the energy sector? Join Hitachi Energy as a Business Development Manager for our Generator Circuit Breaker Services in the US Territory. You'll work with top-tier utilities and power generation companies, developing tailored service proposals and strategies that extend equipment life and minimize unplanned outages. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives.

  • Lead commercial strategy for service agreements, long-term maintenance plans, and outage support contracts.

  • Map customer installed base and recommend service strategies to extend equipment life.

  • Represent the GCB service business at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

  • Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts, and a robust pipeline of qualified service opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hitachi Energy front-end sales and customers.

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets, regularly reporting on sales performance and business development activities.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of the Power System Energy service industry and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Ability to travel domestically is an essential part of this position. Travel up to 80%.
