Use key partnership learnings to help inform areas for investment. Manage how the market perceives the company and how new partners/collaborators are perceived within Verily.

  • Develop, manage and own a robust prospect pipeline, KPIs and outcomes. Communicate well and partner effectively with other Business Development Leads and the broader Commercial team on opportunities and obstacles.

  • Work closely with finance, legal, product, engineering, marketing, and science teams across a range of transaction types, including collaborations, joint ventures and multi-party agreements. Evaluate opportunities, conduct due diligence, negotiate agreement terms and present recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Work with Commercial leadership to define strategic requirements for partnership opportunities, determine appropriateness and operational fit with existing strategy; develop, nurture and manage partnership pipeline.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead from deal inception to successful long-term partnership using creative problem solving skills and executive-level engagement.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, with a desire to help cross-functional teams achieve clarity and alignment, and a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in regulated environments and in managing and structuring partnerships and long-term alliances in payer/payvider and related verticals.
