Client Partner / Business Development Manager – Media & Entertainment
West Coast (Disney Locations) | Full-Time | $150,000 – $180,000 | Strategic Account Growth | Media & Entertainment Industry

A global technology services organization is seeking an experienced Client Partner / Business Development Manager to manage and grow strategic Media & Entertainment accounts on the West Coast.

This role focuses on account farming and strategic growth, expanding revenue within established enterprise accounts by building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities aligned with digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience working with large media companies and Disney-related accounts, with a proven ability to expand business through consultative selling and long-term partnership development.

Position Overview

The Client Partner will be responsible for growing and managing key Media & Entertainment accounts, driving account expansion through cross-selling, upselling, and solution alignment with client technology roadmaps.

This position works closely with internal delivery teams, solution architects, and product leaders to develop and execute account growth strategies while maintaining strong client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
• Own and grow strategic Media & Entertainment accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with executive and operational stakeholders
• Develop long-term account strategies and revenue growth plans
Revenue Growth & Opportunity Development
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
• Align technology solutions with client roadmaps and transformation initiatives
• Drive revenue expansion through strategic account planning
Client Engagement
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and account planning sessions
• Maintain strong relationships across engineering, procurement, product, and executive leadership teams
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement
Collaboration & Solution Development
• Work with solution architects and delivery teams to design tailored technology solutions
• Coordinate with global delivery teams to support client initiatives
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities


RequirementsRequired Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in business development or account management
• Minimum 3+ years managing Disney or similar Media & Entertainment accounts
• Proven track record of growing revenue within large enterprise accounts
• Strong client relationship management and consultative selling skills
• Experience working within IT services or technology consulting environments
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced business degree
• Experience supporting large digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with global delivery models and enterprise solution architecture
