Recognized as one of Forbes 2024 “America's Best Large Employers” and named to the Forbes 2024 "Best Employers for Diversity", Labcorp is seeking to hire a Business Development Executive for the Northeast Northern Division focused on Federally‐Qualified Health Center's (FQHCs).

Business Development Executive (BDE) will lead and coordinate new business development activities of the Northeast Division’s Federally Qualified Health Center’s segment, with target geographies in the Northern Subdivision marketplace (Upstate NY, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine). This role will focus on developing new FQHC relationships and strategically coordinating business opportunities. The Business Development Executive will work closely with Labcorp's Northeast Divisional leadership, external client leadership, laboratory operations, and local sales teams to ensure client expectations are met.

This is a field-based role with the ideal candidate residing in Massachusetts or Connecticut.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementation of marketing and communication strategies for Labcorp focused products and strategic initiatives within the FQHC market.

  • Develop and expand FQHC business in the Northern subdivision market. Build and execute an annual business plan and provide monthly updates.

  • Forecast, cold calls and maintain a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievement.

  • Collaborate with all members of FQHC Regional Leadership Team and Regional Sales team to effectively meet client needs.

  • Collaboratively troubleshoot EMR interface to ensure accurate requisition and result delivery.

  • Maintain strong relationships and conduct regular business reviews with Client Leadership.

  • Conduct detailed review of all pricing associated with new/existing clients accurately and appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience

  • Strong knowledge of the medical diagnostic laboratory industry

  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development role

  • Exceptional presentation skills, known for being a dynamic and engaging speaker

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

  • Strong organizational, follow-up and time management skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships while collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt in a past paced environment

  • Experience using CRMs

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in FQHCs business segment

  • Experience with Salesforce
