Business Development Executive - Arts & Culture (Museums Focus)
Location: United States (Remote) (Chicago-based candidates are a plus)
Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 5+ years of experience in arts administration, digital marketing for cultural organizations, or arts-focused technology sales.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $70,000-$85,000 USD annually
OTE: Typically $100,000-$110,000 in the first year, assuming performance goals are met.
This OTE reflects the combination of base salary and commission tied to key performance metrics.
Over time, with strong performance and territory growth, total earnings can exceed $200,000+, uncapped.
For clarity: OTE represents expected total compensation at 100% target attainment and is not guaranteed pay.

You'll work closely with our VP of Strategic Growth, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to execute a strategy targeting leading arts and culture organizations. You will leverage your deep understanding of industry digital operations and pain points to build instant trust and solve problems for your peers.
You will be an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the vertical, attending key conferences and feeding insights back to our teams. You'll grow your consultative business skills, managing complex negotiations and ensuring a seamless handoff to our Account Management team to ensure long-term client success.

- Digital marketing within arts and cultural organizations, OR
- Technology sales focused on arts, culture, or museum-related digital solutions
- Strong understanding of museum operations (e.g., ticketing, memberships, digital engagement)
- Experience working with or managing digital platforms or websites in a cultural context
