Position Overview:
We are launching a new growth initiative at the intersection of professional learning, frontier data, and the broader AI ecosystem. This highly entrepreneurial role is designed for a business development leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and can engage credibly with technical and product stakeholders. You will operate in discovery mode—identifying opportunities, shaping early partnerships, and helping us learn where our assets and capabilities can create value for AI-native companies and technology innovators.
This is a fully remote role that starts as a 6-month contract, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.
What You'll Do
- Scan the AI ecosystem for emerging trends, technologies, and partnership opportunities relevant to professional learning and human data products.
- Develop a structured approach to hypothesis testing and opportunity validation.
- Share market intelligence and partnership learnings with senior leadership to shape long-term strategy.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with AI-native companies, technology innovators, and ecosystem players.
- Structure and negotiate early-stage agreements that enable experimentation and learning.
- Build joint value propositions and co-create pilot programs with partners.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align partnership initiatives with corporate growth priorities.
- Influence internal stakeholders to secure resources and support for partnership-driven pilots.
- Translate insights from discovery into scalable GTM models and partnership frameworks.
- Define success metrics for pilots and measure impact to inform future investment decisions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 10+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or product management.
- 5+ years in fast-paced, execution-driven roles
- Track record of closing partnerships/alliances in AI, data marketplace services, annotation/data ops, ML infrastructure, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
