About the Role
We are seeking a well seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts within the Business Development team. With a focus on the mobile games market—you will be the primary driver for scaling the growth and adoption of Flexion Group’s patented game services.
As a senior individual contributor, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning the entire commercial lifecycle from strategic prospecting to executive contract execution. You are not just a salesperson; you are a market expert who will act as a high-level consultant to external partners and a strategic voice internally, influencing our product and operations roadmaps. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep roots in the mobile gaming ecosystem who can navigate complex C-suite negotiations and build long-term institutional partnerships.
The position is hybrid (ideally you are based in the UK), with international travel required for high-stakes industry events and strategic briefings at our London HQ.
Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Expansion: Lead the charge in the international region, identifying and securing partnerships with top-tier mobile game developers and publishers.
- Executive Deal Orchestration: Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle for high-value accounts, navigating complex negotiations from cold outreach to final C-suite sign-off.
- High-Level Advisory: Serve as a trusted consultant for partners, developing sophisticated business cases that demonstrate the ROI of Flexion’s growth services.
- Strategic Pipeline Management: Architect and maintain a robust, high-value sales pipeline, utilizing advanced outreach strategies to ensure consistent growth.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate at a senior level with Product, Marketing, and Channel Sales teams to align customer needs with internal development priorities.
- Industry Ambassadorship: Represent Flexion as a thought leader at major international conferences and trade fairs, elevating our brand presence in the global market.
- Partnership Evolution: Transition closed deals into long-term executive-level partnerships, ensuring continued value delivery and account health.
Required Skills and Experiences
- Senior Industry Background: 5+ years of high-level B2B sales or Business Development experience, with a proven focus on the mobile gaming markets.
- Proven Closing Ability: A demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding significant revenue targets through independent, strategic sales efforts.
- Executive Presence: Extensive experience in lead generation and negotiation at the C-suite and VP level within the gaming industry.
- Deep Technical Acumen: Highly experienced in selling technical services (SDKs, APIs, or SaaS); capable of discussing complex mobile architecture and distribution strategies with authority.
- Established Network: Possess a "black book" of existing senior-level relationships and contacts within the global and regional mobile gaming space.
- Advanced Presentation Skills: A confident public speaker capable of delivering high-impact presentations to large audiences and industry panels.
- Strategic Tooling: Advanced proficiency in CRM management (Monday.com or similar) and data-driven sales reporting.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English.
About You
- Strategic Visionary: You don't just follow a sales plan; you help create it, turning abstract market opportunities into actionable, high-revenue plans.
- Exceptional Autonomy: You thrive in remote environments and possess the discipline to drive results without daily supervision.
- Market Intelligence: You stay ahead of the curve, possessing deep knowledge of F2P game lifecycles, Go-To-Market strategies, and the evolving mobile landscape.
- Collaborative Mindset: You are a senior leader who understands that closing a deal is a team effort, effectively involving Product and Operations to ensure long-term success.
- Resilience and Agility: You are energized by a fast-paced, high-growth environment and can pivot strategies as the industry evolves.
- Academic Foundation: Educated to degree level in Business, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented by significant hands-on seniority in the sector.
