As a Business Architect you will lead analyses, interviews and workshops to illuminate the current business and operating models of our organization. We work with leaders and executives to understand their key business drivers and strategic needs. We are customer fanatics, focused both on driving great experiences for our internal business stakeholders as well as bringing the holistic perspective that improves experiences for customers and advisors.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Designing and guiding a business architecture blueprint of the enterprise, particularly Operations, which aligns to the business strategy
- Analyzing and developing a business model for connecting business strategies with business goals
- Creating, maintaining, leveraging and reconciling multiple artifacts such as: customer journey maps, business capability maps, business model canvases, high-level business process models, and business assessments and heat maps
- Collaborating across Operations and the enterprise with an array of stakeholders including senior management, business leaders, IT architecture, business development, to connect the business architecture roadmap with operational decisions
- Conducting and incorporating industry analyses into work products
- Facilitating and leading the creation of capability models and the identification of solutions
- Establishing best practices for key business architecture services
The Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in business architecture, business analysis, strategic consulting, project management or related field
- 1+ year demonstrated experience in communication, relationship building, negotiation, and influencing, particularly in a matrixed corporate environment
- 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree or higher
The Ideal Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in business analysis, strategic consulting, project management or related field
- Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how the business functions and how technology is implemented
- Sound understanding of business principles and concepts, such as how markets influence business, what are the differentiating factors of the business, what and how values are created, and how strategies may be supported
- Experience gathering detailed business needs and requirements as well as developing and improving programs and initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment
- Experience analyzing and mining data
- The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues and goals
- The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture practice as a whole
- Experience and expertise in data visualization
- Business Architecture formal training (certifications preferred)
- Facilitation and training skills for groups of various size and seniority
