Job Description:
WorldStrides is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for initiatives that leverage our CRM platform. The ideal candidate will have deep CRM expertise and a proven ability to align business needs with technical solutions, as well as extensive experience gathering requirements, creating user stories in Jira, and designing process models to improve business operations and customer experience. This role is pivotal in enabling strategic growth and operational efficiency by optimizing CRM capabilities for our stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a certified Business Analyst, skilled in managing complex business requirements, creating detailed documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to define business requirements, create user stories, and support the development process with detailed flow and process diagrams. As a Senior BA, you will be expected to drive solutions that enhance the overall digital experience for our customers and support our mission to make travel accessible and educational.

Responsibilities:

Business Requirements Gathering:
Work with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service) to identify, document, and prioritize requirements related to CRM capabilities.

Solution Design:
Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, focusing on CRM solutions and integrations with third-party tools.

Platform Expertise:
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for platform features, workflows, and capabilities, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices.

Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.

Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between business teams and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Leadership:
Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of enhancements.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
Define and execute test cases for new features and integrations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.

Change Management:
Collaborate with business leaders and training teams to ensure smooth adoption of new platform capabilities.

Continuous Improvement:
Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify areas for optimization and process improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience, with at least 5 years focused on CRM implementations.
  • Business Analyst certification (required).
  • Proficiency with core CRM products.
  • Experience with automation tools, workflow management, and reporting/dashboard capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with Jira or similar tools.S
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in creating process flows, ERDs, and wireframes using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and how they impact user stories and requirements.
  • Knowledge of SQL, RESTful APIs, and software development concepts to better collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
  • Knowledge of SQL and the ability to perform basic data queries to support analysis.
  • Project Management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner).
  • Experience in the educational travel industry or a similar customer-centric sector.
  • Knowledge of third-party integrations, such as payment processing, marketing automation tools, and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, API integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms like HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms.
