Business Analyst – Shared Services

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology by evaluating business processes, documenting current business conditions, defining ideal end state and gathering requirements.  This role will play a vital role in implementing a technology driven strategy that aligns with the broader sales and business strategy to improve business outcomes, metrics, and improve user experience.

Essential Functions

Collaborate on key projects to support Shared Services strategic goals

Work with Business Partners to define key deliverables related to projects

Acts as a liaison between the Business and Digital/IT to articulate business needs for delivering key projects

Works in an Agile environment to deliver key technology changes

Supports day-to-day business and technology needs as defined by leadership

Utilizes project management knowledge and tools

Provides training to business partners on new technology and/or process features

Performs validation and testing of new technology features

Translates business needs into functional specifications for Digital/IT teams

Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information System, or equivalent experience

Three years of experience working in Salesforce

Prior experience working between Business and IT/Digital functional teams, including exposure to Agile methodologies

Prior experience working in Lotus Notes preferred

Prior Business Analyst experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

Proven problem-solving abilities including the ability to investigate a complex business problem and propose a process or technology solution as a resolution

Proficient in understanding key business technologies that are used in Shared Services (Salesforce, Order Management Systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Suite)

Proficient in evaluating technology tools to solve business problems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead meetings

Analytical, problem solving, and project management skills required

A starting compensation range for this role is $60,800.00 - $80,000.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
