Job Description SummaryBusiness Analyst in Digital Technology responsible for the management and support of the functional and operational components during the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) projects. In this role, you will lead the functional aspects of MES deployments across multiple sites and coordinate the rollout of the MES application in various plants.
You will also contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for the in-house developed, cloud-based MES application tailored for GE Vernova businesses. A key part of your responsibilities includes providing application production support for sites utilizing MES applications, ensuring operational continuity and resolving functional issues in collaboration with technical teams.
Additionally, you will manage, coordinate, and coach partners and functional stakeholders to ensure the realization of expected outcomes for internal customers, both during project implementation and in ongoing support phases.

Job Description

In this role you will

  • Collaborate with business partners and development teams to define requirements, changes, and new enhancements, and plan user stories.
  • Help define and prioritize deliverables to maximize business value.
  • Work closely with development teams to plan and track sprints, adjusting based on business and product development priorities.
  • Support product roadmap definition aligned with product and module priorities. Proactively work with development teams to identify enhancement and optimization opportunities for existing functionalities and services.
  • Participate in new implementations and module deployments, including site-specific testing and prioritization of change request releases for MES.
  • Engage in continuous training aligned with new releases and module deployments.
  • Partner with leadership of technical and development teams external to the organization to ensure sufficient support and engagement.
  • Track project outcome realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics and service levels. Ensure lessons learned are collected and applied.
  • Lead RTS team to ensure application production support for MES, including support reporting, incident reporting, and coordination of issue resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and ensure system reliability and performance across supported sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably from the STEM field is advantageous (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Proactive professional with the ability to break down complex topics, analyze and clearly describe processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the confidence and clarity to interface effectively with senior leadership.
  • Preferably experienced in manufacturing process design or execution.
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of setting targets, executing plans, and delivering measurable results.
  • Capable of interacting across all levels of the organization, as well as with other GE Vernova businesses and external partners.
  • Actively involved in application production support for MES application, including support reporting, incident tracking, and issue resolution coordination to ensure system stability and operational continuity.
  • Familiar with collaboration and tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Smartsheet, used for managing support tickets, reporting incidents, and tracking progress on resolution activities.
