Our BSA Compliance Consultant I can work either in person, hybrid, or in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand various applicable regulatory compliance regulations, interpret the requirements, and verify policies, procedures, files and transactions for compliance
  • Analyze, problem solve, and test for compliance with underlying regulations and policies and procedures
  • Deliver high-quality work product and assist other team members within the service line
  • Support the team in providing other compliance related services to financial services and other industry clients as required

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in the banking / financial institutions industry
  • Experience in and knowledge of Customer Due Diligence, Know Your Customer/Customer Identification Program, Suspicious Activity Reports and related areas
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting regulations, policies and procedures in areas such as Bank Secrecy and Anti-Money Laundering laws and other banking related regulations; experience verifying compliance with these requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ablility to communicate effectively with business partners and executive management
  • Ability to research independently and interpret compliance regulations to provide guidance
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $54,000-90,000 / year, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
