Our Ways of Working

We have team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees.

We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.

What the Role Is

Babylist is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Branded Content team. You have a deep understanding of—and are excited about—owning, defining, and implementing processes and creating agile, efficient, and scalable systems. You’re a diplomatic and clear communicator who will engage cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize project timing, communication, and delivery.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years experience as a Project Manager
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal amongst team and external clients
  • Skilled in interpreting and analyzing data to inform decision-making and optimize project outcomes
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a cross-functional team
  • Strong organizational skills & experience managing projects from start to finish
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Creative self-starter with an eye for process improvement
  • Must be very comfortable working in Asana and/or Monday

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Develop and oversee a strategic roadmap for branded content project management, ensuring smooth execution across all stages
  • Identify key internal and cross-functional stakeholders and lead the initiation, organization, and communication of branded content projects
  • Serve as the main point of contact for high-priority projects, maintaining strong client and team relationships
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate the success of implemented changes, using both quantitative metrics (e.g., performance data, engagement rates) and qualitative feedback (e.g., client and team insights) to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Foster collaboration by clearly defining communication channels across teams, promoting transparency and engagement
  • Partner with internal teams and senior leadership to drive collaboration on strategic initiatives, programs, and long-term projects
  • Lead biweekly planning cycles and long-term planning processes, ensuring effective project tracking and team alignment. Facilitate meetings, maintain focus, and manage follow-up communications
  • Manage project timelines (both internal and external), track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure all key creative reviews are scheduled and completed smoothly
  • Support onboarding of new branded content team members, providing guidance on processes and tools to ensure successful integration
  • Ensure consistent updates are communicated to partners, and project materials are archived for future reference
  • Regularly report on key project priorities, milestones, and overall impact to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Why You Will Love Working At Babylist

  • We invest in the infrastructure you’ll need to be supported and successful: tools, opportunities to connect with colleagues, and a stipend to help you set up your office
  • We build products that have a positive impact on millions of people’s lives
  • We work at a sustainable pace which means work/life balance is a real thing here
  • We believe technology and data can solve hard problems

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
