The Brand Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in developing content and executing integrated marketing campaigns that support the firm’s practice areas and broader brand objectives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative, and analytical storyteller who can translate complex ideas, project work, and teammate expertise into clear, compelling content across formats and channels.
Working closely with internal clients and the Brand Marketing team, the coordinator supports day-to-day campaign execution, including content development, email and social media coordination, collateral creation and updates, audience targeting, campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and brand consistency. Video editing and production support are valued capabilities within the role, but the primary focus is helping assigned practices turn strategic priorities into effective, well-executed marketing content and campaigns.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Content Development & Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to shape information, interviews, research, and subject-matter expertise into clear, engaging content for email, social media, websites, presentations, campaigns, internal communications, and other marketing channels.
- Campaign Execution: Supports campaigns from planning through launch and reporting, coordinating content, audiences, schedules, assets, approvals, and channel requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Ownership & Initiative: Takes responsibility for assigned projects and practice-area priorities, proactively driving tasks from start to finish and identifying opportunities to improve campaigns, processes, storytelling, and content. Ability to work independently given appropriate training and resources.
- Accountability: Holds self accountable for delivering high-quality, accurate work on time while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Leadership-in-Execution: Serves as a point of contact and coordinator across teams for specific campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment, clarity, and successful execution.
- Works closely with leadership and marketing partners to coordinate marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, campaigns, and action plans for identified targets or opportunities. Helps define objectives, audiences, key messages, schedules, deliverables, and assignments, and contributes to strategies that cross markets and affect the firm as a whole.
- Develops, organizes, and maintains marketing content and materials. Coordinates email campaigns and studio and teammate event and accomplishment announcements.
- Supports social media planning and execution by developing platform-appropriate written, visual, and video content that increases engagement, builds market awareness, and strengthens brand visibility.
- Supports internal communications through content development, editing, coordination, and, as needed, video production and virtual recording support.
- Ensures that all content and materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and brand.
- Participates in the writing, editing, and proofing process to provide quality control for marketing materials and multimedia content.
- Contributes creative ideas and recommendations that continuously improve the quality, relevance, and performance of marketing content and campaigns.
- Stays current on content marketing, digital campaigns, social media, and video trends, and recommends formats, techniques, and tools that can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the firm’s marketing efforts.
- Shares new information as it becomes available and provides responsive, day-to-day marketing support to assigned practices and broader firm initiatives as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field; coursework or certifications in digital advertising are a plus.
- Experience in marketing, communications, content development, or digital campaign execution; experience in the architecture and design industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated writing samples or portfolio examples that show strong storytelling and the ability to adapt content for different audiences, channels, and formats. Video editing examples are welcomed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and InDesign is strongly preferred; familiarity with After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and/or other motion graphics and audio tools is a plus.
- Working knowledge of digital content requirements across email, social media, websites, presentations, and video, including platform specifications, accessibility considerations, captions, file formats, and aspect ratios.
- Experience with content planning, market research, public relations, email and social media campaigns, and development of collateral materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with a website CMS such as WordPress and familiarity with email marketing, social media management, or campaign analytics platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated with good follow-through skills and a strong work ethic.
- Resourceful, well-organized, hands-on, and able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to motivate and work effectively with unique and diverse personalities, be tactful, mature, and flexible.

Depending on candidate preference and location, this position can be fully remote or part of NELSON’s in-office hybrid work schedule.
Average Pay Range (regional cost of living, years of relevant experience, certifications, etc. are considered into the hiring process): $20-$30/hour. Additional compensation includes bonuses and benefits. Bonuses can include but are not limited to: Long Term Incentive Plan, Short Term Incentive Plan, Profit Sharing
