About the Role

We’re hiring a Brand Design Director to shape and elevate Suno’s brand through both creative leadership and hands-on design execution. In this role, you will oversee and actively design, shaping the brand through hands-on creative work while also guiding a growing team of designers, copywriters and motion designers.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director, and work cross-functionally with content & social, product, and marketing teams to ensure that our brand not only looks exceptional but reflects innovation, agility, and creativity in every interaction. We're looking for someone who is deeply invested in craft, stays ahead of the curve on emerging technologies (especially AI), and thrives on continuous experimentation and optimization.

You’ll play a key role in helping Suno find and refine its unique visual voice—bringing a deep commitment to design quality and consistency, while always looking for ways to elevate and evolve. You’re someone who’s curious, open, and driven to explore new ideas—whether through new tools, formats, or creative approaches—and you bring a strong sense of when to push boundaries and when to focus on craft.

  • Create standout work across campaigns, product launches, content moments, partnerships, and more—from concept to final design.

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, marketing, product, and social/content teams to align brand and business goals.

  • Explore and apply new tools—including AI, automation, and experimental formats—to make the creative process faster, smarter, and more expressive.

  • Drive quality and innovation, continuously refining how our brand looks, feels, and performs.

  • Oversee external vendors and creative partners, providing clear direction and feedback when needed.

What You’ll Need
  • 8+ years of experience in brand and visual design, including 3+ years in a creative leadership role—with a proven ability to set vision, lead teams, and execute high-level design work, while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in content, marketing, product, and creative leadership

  • A killer portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking and concept development, paired with a strong command of brand systems and storytelling—from early ideas to fully realized campaigns across digital, social, motion, OOH, and emerging formats.

  • A strong sense of visual craft, attention to detail, and pride in producing work that is both expressive and refined

  • Strong experience building and evolving scalable brand systems, including typography, layout, color, and design frameworks that adapt across product, communication, and marketing touchpoints

  • Deep proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with hands-on experience or strong curiosity around AI-powered tools, automation, and emerging creative technologies. Bonus if you bring skills in motion design, 3D, or interactive prototyping—and a mindset focused on pushing how design gets made and experienced.

  • Excellent communication skills—you can clearly present ideas, give and receive feedback, and guide creative discussions across teams.

  • A strong passion for music, culture, and creativity—you’re deeply attuned to trends, driven by artistic expression, and excited to help shape how the world experiences music in fresh, unexpected ways
